On Friday 30 October 2009, elected Members of the UK Youth Parliament (MYPs) will make history when they sit on the green benches in the House of Commons and debate the issues that matter to young people from across the UK.The issues being debated include the voting age, youth crime, the cost of public transport, job opportunities for young people and whether or not university tuition fees should be abolished.
This is the first time in 300 years, that anyone other than MPs have been allowed to sit in the House of Commons chamber.
Over the next two weeks, five MYPs will be blogging about their thoughts and feelings leading up to this histroic event.
